Question of the Week April 8th
"Pretend that you are a kite. Your string has broken and you can float anywhere in the world. Write a story telling about your adventures. Write a story telling about your adventures." As always you will need to write at least a THREE paragraph response to the question of the week. Be creative!

My kite string broke so now I can fly wherever I want. First I would go to China. I would visit the people you live there. See what they are like.
Then I would go to Canada. I would see how cold it is up there. I would go look at all of the wild life. Maybe even see a bear.
Then I would go to Georgia. Then I would go see the ocean. I would go to all 50 states. I would visit all the people at the places.
I would to every country. I would see what all the people are like. I would even go to Antarctica. Finally I would go home.
If I was a kite it would be awesome. It would be awesome because I can fly. I would fly all day and it will cool because I will be able to the ocean. Just pulling your leg you will not be able to see it because we are not even close to an ocean.
I would be cool if my string broke then I will go where ever the wind takes me. I will go to California. I want to go to California because it is nice and hot and because there are celebrity there. Then I will go to Japan.
I want to go to Japan just to see the leak they have and then I will go see the eagles in Iowa. Then I think it will be time for me to fly back to my owner. If I don’t fly back the kid will be very sad and I don’t want him to be sad.
If I was a kite and I could go where I wanted to go I would go to Main and then to Florida. I would get a ride by twisting around the backs of cars to I wouldn’t get tired! But then I would meat another kite and he would be my best friend and we would go to Main and Florida together!
We would make a lot of friends and eat a lot of exotic foods! We would be 100% happy! And we would tan on the beaches of Florida and go to all the cool hotels in Main!
We wouldn’t have to pay anything for staying there either we would just fly through a window! We would have a blast! Then we would just go back to my house and he would just live there with me. We would be brother and sisters, but we would never ever get into fights!
If I was a kite id probably follow Justin Bieber around! I know it sounds kind of weird but wouldn’t that be cool! And I would also have powers and turn into a person and I would meet him!!!! Wouldn’t that be awesome? Because I think that is awesome and amazing!
I would go other places while he’s getting ready for a concert or something. I would also go to Atlanta Georgia! That would be fun! I don’t know why I would go there…..I just really want to go there for some reason.
That’s what I would do if I was a kite and my string broke. Fun adventure right? Yea I think it is! Well bye I’m going to go to Atlanta now!!
If I was a kite and could fly anywhere in the world I would fly to Florida. I would go to Florida, because it’s always warm. Also hardly any snow.
A kite can not fly in the snow. I like to fly. That’s why I would like to go to Florida. I would also love to go to Australia.
I like kangaroos. If a kangaroo tries to kick me I would go back to Florida. It would be fun!
If I was a kite I would fly all the way to Iowa. If I did that I would have a lot of fun. I could go on and on about what I would do. I bet if I told you, you would want to come with me.
Well the first thing I would do is, go get some ice cream, maybe even a mountain dew. I would only get those if I got hungry or thirsty. If I had enough money I would get a doughnut. I would also get some gum, just for something to chew.
I might even go and stop to see some cows. Cows are my favorite meat. I love just stopping by and watching them stare at me. Then I would go find a tree to rest in. if I rested in a tree I would hope that I wouldn’t get stuck.
Then I would get to Iowa with no more stops. Then when I get to Iowa I can get some more string! Then I would sit and enjoy myself for a little bit. Then I would slowly make my way back to South Dakota.
Well so I guess you could call this a predicament, but I like to think of it more as a spontaneous adventure. So Jessica, my owner, and I went on Saturday just to test me out after she patched me up from the big tree I hit, and I guess she forgot to check the string. Now do understand I don’t blame this on her at all, because this could be really fun!
So here’s my journey from start to finish. So as I said before it is Saturday, and were taking a little stroll when Jessica looks up to see me floating away. So my first gust of wind sent me to Paris, let’s just say that it was a very, very windy day. While in Paris I saw the Eifel Tower. It was beautiful! That was probably the most exciting part.
The second gust sent me back around to the U.S. I was so excited to see California, because I’ve always wanted to see the San Diego Zoo. It was magnificent! There were such great creatures there, that I was in complete awe. I do have to admit though I was happy to see Jessica’s house. Also it was strange how it happened, because right above her house is a big tree that I got caught in.
Jessica was so happy to see me when she looked out her window that she jumped for joy. I was also really glad to see her. That night she had her dad get me out of the tree, and she fixed me up. The next day we went to the park again, and had the most amazing time.
I would go to Florida. I would go over Disney land. I would go by my old house. I would just fly over Florida.
Then I would go to Paris. I would see the Eifel Tower. Then I would go to Japan. I will go there to see all the people.
Then I would go to Hawaii. I would also see all the people there. I would go and see the volcanoes. Then I would go back home.
If I was a kite and I could go anywhere I would go everywhere. First I would go to Haiti I would carry thing that would help them. Then I would stay there for a few days so I could now more of what they need. It was fun staying there because they are really nice people.
Then I would go to the Bahamas. It is very hot there. I stayed at the beach the whole time I was there for a week or two. If I could I would stay there much longer. It is very beautiful in the Bahamas.
Well I went everywhere it only was 3 years. It was really fun. I like meeting all of those people. I would do it all over a again I would.
If I was a kite I would float all the way over to Japan. It would be so weird to see what Japan looks like right now. I would enjoy going over to Japan to see how many people there are walking around. Also I would like to see what the aircraft carriers look like that are over there.
I would like to go to China and see what China looks like. I imagine China having tall buildings and stuff like that. I wish I could land and get some Chinese food to go. It would be so cool to be in China.
I would also want to go to Jamaica where it is 70 degree F. That would be so cool to see everything, and also hear the Jamaicans say, “Welcome to Jamaica man.” That would be paradise to be there, my mom has wanted to be there for years. My mom would never want to leave.

I am a blue kite souring throw the air. The sky is nice and blue today. Birds are all around in the trees. Kids are playing on the swings.
The ice cream truck pulls up and the kid set me down. I see there a storm coming in. The kids got there ice cream. They forgot about me and they left me.
It started to rain, lightning, and thunder. The lightning hit me and I fell to the ground. A tornado started to form and sucked me up. I never saw the ground again.
I want to drive. I don’t want the prices to go up. I can drive in two years so the better not go up much in that time. I wish it would hurry up. So I think this is bad that they are going up.
There is this eagle video on YouTube. I think it is annoying. I don’t see why people can sit there and watch that. I think it would get boring.
